INTRODUCTION
Shri Guru Harkishan Degree College named after the eighth Sikh Guru Shri Guru Harkishan Sahib Ji was inaugurated by Late Sr.Gyani Zail Singh, H'ble Ex. President Govt. of India, on 13th July 1993 with the blessings and guidance of Late Sant Pranpal Singh Ji reverently called Pitaji(The Founder of The College), the College has grown and flourished to fulfill the dream of Sant ji, and thousand of students of this region.
This college is run by Shri Karta Harrai Ji Maharaj Trust Jhansi (Regd.) comprising intellectuals and socially aware members of the Sikh Community, who are dedicated to the propagation of quality education at the higher Level. The College Committee, with the assistance of< >
efficient and qualified Principal and Teachers, aims to provide vocational and quality education to enable the youth to develop professionally and as individual personalities. The annual 100% Result of all faculty bears testimony to the educational attainments of the students.
At present the college provides teaching facilities for B.Com, B.Sc and B.Ed. More vocationally useful courses like MBA, MCA, C.A. Foundation and various diploma courses are likely to be introduced in the next future.
